Limitations of the eWarehousing application
Before you start using our eWarehousing app, please keep in mind that there are some limitations with using the application.
Limitations
1. Updating Shipping addresses
The eWarehousing application does not support updating shipping addresses. This is due to Lightspeed not supporting this feature. This means that if a merchant changes the shipping address of an already placed order, the new address will not be updated in eWarehousing.
This also means that if an address has been entered incorrectly it will not be possible to re-send the order to the correct address. The merchant will have to either cancel the order or contact eWarehousing to see if they can help.
2. Retrying cancelled orders
If an order is cancelled in eWarehousing or Lightspeed, the order will be marked as cancelled in Lightspeed. This means that the order will not be processed again.
3. Partially submitting orders
Lightspeed and the eWarehousing application do not support partially submitting orders.
4. Partially shipping orders
Lightspeed and the eWarehousing application do not support partially shipping orders.
